A table with the harbour in front of you is the reason I send guests to Senequier Saint-Tropez. It is a restaurant, and when someone asks me where to sit with a view of the harbour, this is the name I give first. I like a place that offers something to look at while you eat, and here the view is very much part of the meal.
There are two moments of the day when I would suggest Senequier above all: breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is a gentle way to start a day in Saint-Tropez, and I would have it facing the water before the day has made any plans of its own. Lunch is the other occasion I have in mind, when a long, unhurried table with a view suits the rhythm of a holiday.
A practical word. Senequier does not take reservations in advance, so I would plan to go in person and leave yourself a little room on timing. If you have a particular moment in mind, tell me and I will gladly advise you on the best time to arrive.
I have kept this recommendation simple on purpose, as I would not wish to promise more than I know. Go for the view, for breakfast or for lunch, and let the harbour do the rest.
