A terrace facing due south, soaked in sun high above the resort: that is what sets La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel apart, and it is my first recommendation for après-ski in Méribel. The venue sits in the Méribel and Courchevel ski area in the French Alps, and it describes itself as a 'French Riviera at altitude'.
The mood is festive. Live shows, dance, music and food come together, and the venue promotes daily parties under the slogan 'We party every day'. Large crowds gather here, and the aim is a convivial, shared atmosphere. Guest DJs take to the decks, among them the Brazilian DJ Marina Diniz, and the venue's website lists upcoming shows and scheduled concerts, so you can plan your day on the slopes around them.
The Kappa Mountain Tour 2026 stops here, in its third edition, and the 2025 tour was held here too. Kasnodar Caviar has been presented as a special culinary experience. The partnership with Skiif offers a ski GPS experience, while the partnership with Carlsberg is presented as an ecological initiative.
There is also a Folie Shop selling fashion items, and Kappa supplies the team's outfits. The 2026 season closes here on 4 April, which is worth knowing when you plan your ski holiday.
