Lunch with the sea in front of you is what sets Jardin Tropezina apart, and it is the Saint-Tropez restaurant I name whenever guests ask me where to eat by the water. This is my own recommendation, and I say only what I know and can stand behind.
The sea view is the heart of it, both at lunch and at dinner. By day you can settle at a table with the water in sight, and in the evening you can return to the same outlook as the light changes. It is a simple pleasure, and I find it hard to improve upon: a good table, a proper meal and the sea before you.
After dark there is live music on the beach. I mention it because it shapes the mood of the evening. If you prefer a very quiet table, do bear it in mind; if you enjoy music by the sea, you will find it a pleasant accompaniment to dinner.
